| "The current bid stands at $1,000 and the auction ends Aug. 9." However the article that the Yahoo news item links to states, "it is estimated to sell at a price between $15,000 and $25,000." I wonder how much bidders will attribute intrinsic value to the ring in the same way that some people value items worn by or that belong to celebrities. (E.g., Princess Diana's dress, J.F.K.'s tape measure. etc.) |
